Parham Daghighi
Clinician
I am a licensed master social worker with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges, from trauma and anxiety to relationship struggles and body image concerns. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a belief that a trusting, collaborative relationship is the foundation for growth, positive change, and healing. I specialize in supporting clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors (such as skin picking or biting), addiction, and trauma-related issues.
Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, refugee family support, hospice care, and grief support. These experiences have deepened my commitment to an integrative approach to therapy, blending psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. This trauma-informed framework helps me understand how past experiences impact your present and supports clients in improving self-regulation, sensory integration, and relational patterns across the lifespan.
In our work together, I strive to understand your unique experiences and the social, cultural, and systemic factors that influence your mental health. With a particular awareness of how race, gender, and ability intersect to affect well-being. I am committed to offering therapy that is both person-centered and socially aware.
I believe that everyone has the resilience to heal, and my approach is rooted in a spirit of generosity, valuing your lived experience and honoring your strengths. If you are looking for a compassionate and dedicated therapist to support you in navigating life's challenges, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this process. Please feel free to reach out for a consultation.
