Welcome, its nice to meet you! We all want to feel valued, respected, understood, encouraged, and validated. With that, it's important to try and understand other people's perspectives and challenge unhealthy thoughts to build stronger relationships. I'm here to offer behavioral, emotional, and psychological support when you need it most. Life can be tough sometimes, and when we face challenges like depression or relationship issues etc, it's not always easy to know what to do. In our work together, we can navigate those roadblocks and get you feeling good again.
As a school social worker with experience as a teacher and behavior specialist, I've helped lots of kids with academic, behavioral, and social challenges. I'm also skilled in helping folks of all ages manage stress, anxiety, anger, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, self-esteem, and confidence. If you're struggling with concentration, memory, or focus (ADHD), I can help with that too!
I use different techniques, like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Crisis Intervention. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. It can be tough to take that first step and try therapy, but I'm proud of you for making that choice! I'm excited to be here for you on your healing journey!
